As part of a partnership between the Vitra Design Museum and the Barragan Foundation, the archive of Mexican architect Luis Barragán has been moved to the Vitra Design Museum and is now hosted at new premises close to the Vitra Schaudepot. In our upcoming series, we will provide insights into Barragán’s life and work, as well as into the archive’s holdings.
When visiting the Vitra Campus, the Barragán Gallery lets you explore different drawings, photographs and other material from the Barragán Archive, together with biographical details and an illustrated chronology of modern architecture in Mexico.
